Established in 1975, Hilltop Lakes Fire and Rescue functions as a volunteer department, offering a comprehensive range of fire, rescue, and emergency medical services. Presently, the department continues to operate on a volunteer basis for fire and rescue functions while employing paid EMS staff who are stationed around the clock. Serving the residents of ESD 2 in southwest Leon County, Hilltop Lakes Fire and EMS is committed to delivering swift and effective responses to emergency calls. The dedicated men and women of the department prioritize community service. For those interested in joining, training sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings of each month.
